About Hoboken-Terminal.com

Hoboken-Terminal.com is an independent traveler’s guide to Hoboken Terminal — the 1907 Beaux-Arts landmark on the Hoboken, New Jersey waterfront where NJ Transit commuter trains, PATH, NY Waterway ferries, the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, and buses all meet under one roof.

We built this site because the terminal, for all its beauty, can be genuinely confusing to use: five transit modes, four operators, three fare systems, and signage that assumes you already know where you’re going. Our goal is to be the most useful, honest resource for anyone passing through — whether you’re a daily commuter, a visitor figuring out the fastest way into Manhattan, or an architecture fan here for the Tiffany skylight.

Not Affiliated with Any Transit Agency

Hoboken-Terminal.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to NJ Transit, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, PATH, NY Waterway, the City of Hoboken, or any other transit operator, government agency, or transportation authority mentioned on this site. We are an independent publication.

All company names, trademarks, service marks, and logos referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used for informational purposes only.

That independence is intentional. It means we can be honest about what works and what doesn’t at the terminal — which entrance to actually use, when the ferry beats the PATH, and when driving here is a mistake — without institutional pressure.

How We Keep Facts Fresh

Transit facts go stale fast. Fares change, schedules shift, and construction rearranges the building. So we treat freshness as a feature:

  • Reviewed dates: Pages with facts a reader could act on — fares, hours, service patterns — carry a last-reviewed date, so you can see how current the information is.
  • Official sources: Every actionable claim is cross-checked against the official publications of NJ Transit, the Port Authority/PATH, and NY Waterway. For anything time-critical, we link you to the operators’ own schedule tools and service alerts rather than maintaining our own timetables — the agencies will always be more current than any third-party site can be.
  • Hedged figures: Where a fare or schedule may have changed since our last review, we say “about” rather than pretending to precision we can’t guarantee.

Always verify critical travel information — schedules, fares, track assignments, service alerts — with the relevant operator before you travel.
